JFU-3 is a single-body 10-panel design with one more panel than the previous version. A total of 20 bones are also used.
In other countries, 10-panel corsets are sometimes seen for larger people, but 9-panel corsets for slender Japanese people are quite rare.
Some may say, "This is less than the 10-panel corset overseas!" Some may say, "That's less than the 10-panel corsets from overseas," but the great thing about the JFU-3 is that it has a fully closed W38cm minimum despite the 9-panel corset!
There must be a lot of people who have purchased imported corsets, and despite buying the smallest XS size, they say that it is not tight enough, or that it is fully closed.
We think it is rare to find a corset with such a multi-panel construction that allows for even narrower sizing, and also allows for a narrower corset to be made just to the very last possible inch.
The bones near the front are quite close together, so together with the busk, it strongly restrains the lower abdomen.
