1860年代のビクトリアンスタイルのヴィンテージコルセットを元に、オーバーバストコルセットに 転用した、ネオ ヴィンテージ スタイル コルセット。

現代コルセットは、縦切り替えのみで構成され、パーツも片身５〜６とシンプルな構造で、ウエストを「削る」、ダーツ分量を「取る」と言った、生地から分量をマイナスする発想で作られています。
しかし19世紀のコルセットは、逆の発想で作られ、生地にマチを付ける事で凹凸を出すパターンで作られていました。
現代コルセットでは縫い代にボーンを入れるのみですが、19世紀のコルセットは縦横無尽に、自由な発想と人体の理に適ったボーンの配置で、しっかりした構造でありながも当たりが少なく、しかも優雅で美しいシルエットを保ちます。
本物が分かる人だけが、手にする事が出来る珠玉の職人芸です。

Modern corsets have a simple structure with only 5 to 6 parts per body, and are made by "cutting" the waist or "taking off" the darts, which is a concept that subtracts a certain amount of fabric.
Corsets of the 19th century, however, were made with the opposite concept in mind, using a pattern to create unevenness by adding gussets to the fabric.
Modern corsets only have bones in the seam allowance, but corsets of the 19th century were made with free thinking and a bone arrangement that made sense to the human body, and while having a solid structure, they had little impact, and yet maintained a graceful and beautiful silhouette.
It is a gem of craftsmanship that only those who understand the real thing can afford.
There are high-class corsets made of high-grade fabrics, but there is no other corset in Japan, with the exception of P.C.W., that incorporates patterns, sewing, and a deep knowledge of historical costumes.
